Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 4 sq
How to make fudge brownies:
Melt 1/2 cup butter with chocolate over low heat; cool. Place remaining butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Attach bowl and beater. Turn to speed 2 (or stir) on electric mixer and mix for 30 seconds, then increase to speed 6 (or cream) for 2 minutes. Reduce to speed 4 (or blend) and add eggs, one at a time, beating 15 seconds after each. Stop and scrape bowl. Add butter and chocolate. Turn to speed 2 and mix for 30 seconds. Reduce to stir speed and add flour, salt and nuts; mix until well blended, about 30 seconds. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
