Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • sifted flour - 3 c
  • raisins - 3/4 lb
  • pecan halves - 1 lb
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • candied cherries - 1/2 lb
  • sweet milk - 3 Tbsp
  • candied pineapple - 1/2 lb
  • broken pecans - 1/2 lb
  • fruit juice grape, pineapple, orange - 1/4 c

How to make fruitcake cookies:

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Beat well. Add milk and mix. Sift together and add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Stir in fruit and nuts. Add juice last.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° until cookies are firm but not brown. May be kept several weeks in covered container.
