Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • milk - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • maraschino cherries - 1/4 c
  • bananas, sliced - 2 item
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 1/4
  • chopped pecans, toasted - 1/2 c
  • oranges, sectioned - 3 item
  • apples, unpeeled and chopped - 3 item
  • Creamy Sauce follows - 1 item

How to make fruit salad:

Creamy Sauce:1/2 c. sugar1 c. milk2 Tbsp. lemon juice2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour2 eggs, slightly beaten Combine sugar and flour in a small saucepan; stir well. Add milk and eggs. Stir well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice. Cover and chill. Yields 1 1/2 cups.
