Fruit salad



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • white syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • can mandarin oranges - 1 item
  • small jar maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • can pineapple chunks - 1 oz
  • apricot gelatin - 4 Tbsp
  • reserved fruit juice - 2 c
  • can sliced peaches, cut in half - 1 oz

How to make fruit salad:

Drain fruit. Save juice from peaches and pineapple. Mix juice, sugar, cornstarch and white syrup. Boil until clear. Add gelatin to hot mixture. Cool and pour over fruit. Then add about 4 bananas, cut in fairly large pieces.
