Fruit pizza
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 1/2 1
- water - 2 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- frozen whipped topping, thawed - 8 oz
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 oz
- red grape halves - 1/2 c
- to 3 kiwi fruit, peeled and thinly sliced - 2 item
- to 2 firm bananas, sliced - 1 item
How to make fruit pizza:
Pat cookie dough into an ungreased 14-inch pizza pan. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until browned; cool. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust. Arrange fruit on top. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, orange juice, water, lemon juice, cornstarch and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes or until thickened. Cool. Brush over fruit. Chill. Store in refrigerator.
