Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 7 c
- water - 4 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 5 tsp
- lard - 1 lb
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- softened cream cheese - 11 oz
- jar apricot preserves - 1/2 item
- refrigerated roll sugar cookies - 1 item
- currants, rinsed and drained - 1 c
How to make fruit pizza:
Mix all the ingredients into a dough; add 1 cup currants, rinsed and drained, and work into dough. Roll out on a floured board; cut into 2 1/2 or 3 inch circles. Fry on lightly greased electric frypan or griddle at 350°. Fry until cookies puff up and look shiny, then turn over and cook until finished.These cookies cook very fast and might burn at first. Adjust your head accordingly. Sprinkle cookies with granulated sugar after removing from frypan.
