Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- coconut - 2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- walnuts - 1 c
- candied cherries - 1/2 lb
- candied pineapple - 1/2 lb
- dates - 2 c
- cans Eagle Brand milk - 2 item
- orange slices candy - 1 c
How to make fruit loaf:
Chop all fruits, nuts and orange slices. Mix all other ingredients, stirring until well mixed. Line a loaf pan with brown paper, then waxed paper. Carefully spoon mixture in pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool before removing from pan. Remove paper from cake. Very good. Keeps well.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Breakfast.
