Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- confectioners sugar
- can jellied cranberry sauce - 1 oz
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can chunk pineapple - 1 oz
- few drops of lemon juice - 1 item
- large cans fruit cocktail - 2 item
- Drain fruit and mix thoroughly
How to make fruit compote:
(Fresh fruit and melons may be substituted for canned fruit when in season.) Drain fruit and mix thoroughly. Whip cranberry sauce with a wire whisk and pour sauce over fruit. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate.Sauce:1 pt. heavy cream1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. mayonnaise1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar few drops of lemon juice Beat until the consistency of melted ice cream. Pour sauce over each serving of fruit.Try serving before a Thanksgiving meal instead of a salad or simply serve anytime as dessert.
