  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp
  • white sugar - 1/4 c
  • can fruit cocktail - 1 item

How to make fruit cocktail cookies:

Drain fruit cocktail; save syrup. Cream next 4 ingredients until fluffy. Add egg along with 1/3 cup fruit cocktail syrup and beat well. Add all remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
