Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- 1 oz - 1 lb
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- can evaporated milk - 13 oz
- Pour into long dish or make 3 layers
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Mix all ingredients with spoon. Pour into long dish or make 3 layers. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Ice cake.Icing:1 1/2 c. sugar13 oz. can evaporated milk2 sticks margarine2 tsp. vanilla1 small can coconut (1 c.)1 c. pecans Mix sugar, evaporated milk and margarine. Put on low heat until margarine melts. Turn on high and boil 3 minutes. Remove from eye and add vanilla, coconut and pecans.
