- salt - 1/3 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- coconut - 1 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- canned milk - 1/3 c
- 303 can fruit cocktail
- Add sugar, egg and fruit cocktail
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Mix and sift flour, salt and soda in large bowl. Add sugar, egg and fruit cocktail. Mix by hand well and pour in well-greased large rectangle pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°. Cut in squares while hot and glaze with icing.Icing for Fruit Cocktail Cake:2/3 c. canned milk, not diluted1 1/2 c. sugar1 stick margarine coconut nuts1/3 c. canned milk1/2 stick margarine3/4 c. sugar Boil first 3 ingredients 2 minutes.
