Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking soda - 2 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- pecans - 1/2 c
- can coconut - 1/2 item
- sugar granulated
- can fruit cocktail, undrained - 1 item
- Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to cocktail
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Mix fruit cocktail, eggs and granulated sugar together. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to cocktail. Mix and pour batter into greased pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and coconut over batter. Bake at 300° for 40 to 45 minutes. Leave in pan.Icing:3/4 c. sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans1/2 stick butter1/2 c. coconut1 c. evaporated milk Mix ingredients together and boil for 2 minutes.
