Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 3/4 c
- oatmeal
- jar preserves any flavor you desire - 1 oz
How to make fruit bars:
Preheat oven to 400°. Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture; mix well forming crumbs. Press half of crumb mixture into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Spread preserves over top. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
