Fruit and nut granola
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 tsp
- sliced almonds - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- nonfat dry milk - 1/4 c
- regular oats - 4 c
- ground cinnamon
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- wheat germ - 1 c
- cooking spray - 1 item
- golden raisins - 1 c
- sweetened dried cranberries - 1/2 c
- sunflower seed kernels - 1/2 c
- roasted soy beans - 1 c
- salt omit if salted sunflower seeds are used - 1/4 tsp
- chopped dried mixed fruit - 1 c
How to make fruit and nut granola:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine honey and orange juice in a small saucepan over medium heat and heat thoroughly. Add oil and vanilla. Stir with a whisk.
