Frozen fruit salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- whipped cream - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- can fruit cocktail, drained - 1 oz
- can pineapple tidbits, drained - 1 1/4
How to make frozen fruit salad:
Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice in top of a double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Cool. Add salt and fruit to marshmallow mix. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into an 8-inch pan. Freeze until firm. Cut into squares to serve.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
