sugar - 1 c
flour - 1 c
brown sugar - 1/4 c
egg whites - 2 item
margarine, softened - 1/2 c
chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
whipping cream - 1 c
lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
strawberries * - 2 c

How to make frosty strawberry squares:

*One 10 ounce package frozen strawberries (partially thawed) may be substituted. Then reduce sugar to 2/3 cup.

Stir together first 4 ingredients; spread evenly in a shallow baking pan. Bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice in a large bowl. With electric mixer, beat at high speed until stiff peaks form (about 10 minutes). Fold in whipped cream. Spoon mixture over crumbs. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Cut into squares. Trim with whole strawberries.
