Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- milk - 4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- pumpkin
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 c
- each: butterscotch bits, nuts and raisins - 1 c
- Add pumpkin and egg
How to make frosted pumpkin cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add pumpkin and egg. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon and salt and mix this into the creamed mixture. Stir in the butterscotch bits, nuts and raisins. Spoon the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375°.Frosting:3 Tbsp. butter4 tsp. milk1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. confectioners sugar3/4 tsp. vanilla Combine butter, milk and brown sugar in a saucepan and cook until sugar is dissolved.
