Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cold water
  • hot water - 2 c
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c
  • lemon juice - 1 item
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 1/2 c
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • lemon jello - 1 pkg
  • orange jello - 1 pkg
  • pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
  • bananas, diced - 2 item
  • Let cool slightly

How to make frosted fruit salad:

Dissolve jello. Let cool slightly. Add bananas, nuts, pineapple and marshmallows. Mix well. Pour into dish.Topping:2 Tbsp. flour1/2 c. sugar1 egg, beaten lemon juice Mix flour and sugar in heavy pan. Add egg and pineapple juice. Cook, stirring constantly until thick. Add butter and cool. When cold, fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cold jello and sprinkle with cheese.
