Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- softened butter - 1/2 c
- chopped cashews
- tbsp half & half - 3 item
How to make frosted cashew cookies:
Icing:1/2 c. butter1/4 tsp. vanilla3 tbsp half & half2 c. confectioners sugar Cream butter & brown sugar. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with sour cream, to creamed mixture. Stir in cashews. Bake on greased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.Icing: Lightly brown butter in sauce pan. Cool slightly. Add cream & vanilla. Beat in confectioners sugar till thick and smooth. Frost cookies and top with cashew half.
