sugar - 1 c
vanilla - 2 tsp
milk - 1/2 c
salt - 1/2 tsp
baking powder
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
sifted flour
margarine - 1/2 c

How to make friendship cookies:

Cream sugar and margarine; add unbeaten egg. Blend well. Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add vanilla to milk and add it alternately, flour mixture with cream mixture, starting and ending with flour. Mix well and drop dough be teaspoonful onto sifted powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375° on center rack.
