- sugar - 1 item
- salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 1 item
- turnips - 1 item
How to make fried turnips:
Peel and cut up as many turnips as you would potatoes. Put in skillet with hot bacon drippings. Sprinkle sugar over turnips. Cover until sugar melts. Add salt and pepper to taste. Finish frying the same as you would potatoes.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low sodium, Vegetables.
