  • egg - 1 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • medium ripe green tomatoes - 6 item

How to make fried tomatoes:

Slice tomatoes 1/2-inch thick. Beat egg slightly and season with salt and pepper. Dip tomato into the crumbs, then into the egg, then back into the crumbs. Fry in a small amount of grease in a skillet until brown on both sides.
