Fried rice
Ingredients/Components
- Onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- Pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- Soy sauce - 1/4 c
- Parsley, chopped - 1 Tbsp
- Cooked chicken, pork or ham, finely chopped - 1/2 c
- can Mushrooms, drained - 4 oz
- Rice, cooked and cooled - 3 c
How to make fried rice:
In a medium skillet, cook the chicken, onion and mushrooms in the oil until tender, add rice and soy sauce. Cook over a low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occassionally with a fork. Add egg, parsley and pepper. Cook for a further 5 minutes stirring constantly. Serves 5-6.Recipe categories: Vegan, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
