  • butter - 1/4 c
  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • onion, chopped - 1/4 c
  • minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • cooked rice - 4 c

How to make fried rice:

Fry onion in butter until tender. Add rice, soy sauce, pepper, parsley and garlic salt. Cook over low heat 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add egg, stirring constantly. Cook on low heat 5 minutes more.
