  • flour - 6 Tbsp
  • oil - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • mashed potatoes - 2 c

How to make fried potato cakes:

Combine potatoes, flour, egg, milk and onion in bowl; mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil in skillet. Brown on both sides, pressing with spatula to flatten. Yields 12 cakes.
