Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • cooking oil - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • onion powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tabasco - 1/8 tsp
  • perch fillets - 2 lb

How to make fried perch:

Season fish with garlic salt and onion powder. Mix egg, milk and Tabasco. Stir in flour, salt and mustard and beat until smooth. Coat fish in batter and fry in hot oil for 3 to 5 minutes.
