Fried okra



  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • cornmeal - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • fresh okra, sliced - 1 lb
  • green tomatoes, diced - 1/2 c

How to make fried okra:

Mix cornmeal, flour, salt and pepper. Cut stems off okra and slice. Coat okra in flour mixture. Coat tomatoes and mix with okra. Fry in hot skillet until golden brown.
