Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 3/4 c
- fish fillets - 1 lb
- shortening like Crisco for 10-inch pan - 3/4 c
How to make fried fish fillets:
Beat egg and milk together until blended. Dip fillets in milk mixture, then in mixture of flour and salt. If heavier coating is desired, dip in milk and flour mixture again. Fry in hot Crisco until golden brown. Makes 3 to 4 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, < 30 mins, Sandwich.
