  • butter or margarine
  • oil - 3 4
  • lite soy sauce - 2 3
  • frozen, shredded hash browns, thawed
  • shredded cabbage long shreds
  • thinly-sliced bell pepper strips
  • onion, cut into thin strips

How to make fried cabbage:

Combine the cabbage, bell pepper, and onion. Rinse and drain. Pour the oil into a large skillet and add cabbage mixture. Stir to mix. Cover. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is wilted and peppers/onions are tender. Sprinkle soy sauce over top and mix. Taste and add Cavender's (or you can use salt & black pepper). Stir in butter. 4 to 6 servings.
