- slices bacon - 6 item
- chopped onions can also use green onions or even leeks - 1 c
How to make fried cabbage:
Steam the cabbage until tender, but not limp. Fry the bacon until crisp and set aside. Saut the onions in the bacon grease. Add the cabbage to the saut?©d onions; cover and cook until tender on medium heat. You may need to add a little water depending on the water content of the cabbage. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
