- salt
- water - 3 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- dried apples - 8 oz
How to make fried apple pies:
Prepare pastry by mixing flour and salt; cut shortening into flour until size of small peas. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon water and toss with fork and push aside until all dough is mixed.
