Fresh vegetable marinade
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
- stalks chopped celery - 3 item
- small chopped onion - 1 item
- medium chopped green pepper - 1 item
- large mushrooms, sliced - 8 item
- small head cauliflower, broken in flowerets - 1 item
- stalks broccoli, broken into flowerets - 4 item
How to make fresh vegetable marinade:
Combine vegetables; toss lightly. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well and pour over vegetables. Chill at least 4 hours. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Marinades and rubs.
