  • sugar - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • red food coloring - 1 item
  • strawberry jello - 2 Tbsp
  • baked pie shell - 1 item
  • raw strawberries - 1 qt

How to make fresh strawberry pie:

Mix water, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Bring to a boil while stirring. Cook until thick and clear. Add jello and a little red food coloring. Stir in. Let cool. Add strawberries to baked pie shell. Pour the cooled glaze over the strawberries and chill in refrigerator. Serve with whipped cream.
