Fresh strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
• water - 1 c
• white Karo - 3 Tbsp
• strawberry Jell-O - 3 Tbsp
• 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item
• sliced berries - 1 pt

How to make fresh strawberry pie:

Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, syrup and water in saucepan. Stir and cook until mixture thickens (about 5 minutes). Add gelatin and blend well. Cool. Put berries into cooled baked crust. Spoon gelatin mixture and over berries. Chill thoroughly.
