Fresh strawberry cake



  • eggs - 4 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • self-rising flour - 4 tsp
  • Crisco oil - 3/4 c
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item
  • box white cake mix - 1 item
  • small box strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
  • mashed strawberries - 1 c
  • Icing:1 box powdered sugar

How to make fresh strawberry cake:

Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 stick butter or margarine1/2 c. mashed strawberries Add dry ingredients to cake mix. Stir together. Add oil, strawberries and water. Blend together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Grease and flour cake tins. Bake in layers at 350° for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.

Mix icing to consistency, adding strawberries a little at a time. Sliced strawberries may be added between layers or for final decoration on top.
