  • sugar - 1 c
  • ketchup - 1 c
  • hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 4 item
  • can water chestnuts - 1 item
  • Wesson oil
  • bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 1/2 lb
  • fresh torn spinach - 1 lb
  • Purple onion, to taste - 1 item

How to make fresh spinach salad:

Dressing:3/4 c. Wesson oil1 c. ketchup1 c. sugar Combine spinach, eggs, bacon, water chestnuts and onion in a salad bowl.

Mix dressing ingredients thoroughly and pour over salad mixture.
