Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • onion, chopped fine - 3/4 c
  • green pepper, chopped fine - 1/4 c
  • jalapeno pepper, chopped fine - 1/4 c
  • fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped fine can use one 14 oz - 2 c
  • chilies, chopped fine - 1/4 c
  • cilantro to taste, chopped optional - 1 item

How to make fresh salsa:

Combine all ingredients. Let stand at least 30 minutes at room temperature. Can be stored refrigerated up to 2 weeks. Yield: 3 cups.
