Fresh raspberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour
- cornstarch
- water - 1 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- whipped cream optional - 1 item
- raspberry gelatin - 5 Tbsp
- fresh raspberries, washed and drained
How to make fresh raspberry pie:
Crust:1 c. flour1 Tbsp. water1/2 c. margarine, melted Filling:1 c. fresh raspberries, washed and drained1/2 c. sugar Crust: Mix together crust ingredients. Pat into 8-inch pie pan. Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes. Let cool.Filling: Mix gently the raspberries with the sugar. Set aside.
Combine in small saucepan, sugar, water, cornstarch and raspberry gelatin. Bring to a boil and simmer until gelatin is completely dissolved and liquid is clear and thick. Let cool. Fold in sugared raspberries and pour into cooled pie shell. Refrigerate for several hours. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
