  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • stick melted butter - 1 item
  • Meringue:3 egg whites
  • fresh ripe sliced peaches - 2 c

How to make fresh peach pie:

Meringue:3 egg whites6 Tbsp. sugar Combine the first 5 ingredients; fold in peaches and pour into the unbaked pie shell. Bake in a preheated 300° oven for 45 to 60 minutes until almost set. Cool. Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff, not dry. Spread onto cooled pie and bake at 300° until light brown (this could take up to 30 minutes in the 300° oven).
