Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- sliced green onion - 1/4 c
- snipped parsley - 1/4 c
- finely chopped green pepper - 1 Tbsp
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- mushrooms, trimmed and sliced - 1/2 lb
- head Romaine, washed and chilled - 1 item
- head lettuce, washed and chilled - 1 item
- Garden Dressing recipe below - 1 item
- Into bowl tear lettuce into bite-size pieces 8 cups
How to make fresh mushroom salad:
Line salad bowl with Romaine leaves. Into bowl tear lettuce into bite-size pieces (8 cups). Add mushrooms. Pour Garden Dressing over greens and toss. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Garden Dressing:1/2 c. salad oil1/4 c. vinegar1/4 c. sliced green onion1/4 c. snipped parsley1 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper1 tsp. sugar1 tsp. salt1 tsp. dry mustard1/8 tsp. red pepper Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar.
