Fresh fruit salsa
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- crushed red pepper flakes - 1/2 tsp
- small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- Granny Smith apples - 1/2 lb
- small red pepper, chopped - 1 item
- fresh cilantro - 1 Tbsp
- rice vinegar or white wine vinegar - 1/4 c
- small pineapple - 1/2 item
- medium papaya - 1/2 item
How to make fresh fruit salsa:
Halve pineapple lengthwise. Remove and discard peel, leaves and core. Cut in 1/2-inch cubes. Halve papaya lengthwise; remove and discard seeds. Pare and cut in 1/2-inch cubes. Halve apple; remove and discard core and peel. Cut into 1/2-inch cubes. In a medium bowl, combine fruit and remaining ingredients. Mix well.
