Fresh berry pie



  • powdered sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • baked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
  • sugar, mixed with 4 Tbsp - 1 c
  • berries, washed and hulled or peaches - 4 c

How to make fresh berry pie:

Crush 2 cups berries and blend with sugar and cornstarch. Cook about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently until thick, smooth and clear. Add lemon juice and cool mixture thoroughly. Sprinkle powdered sugar over bottom of baked pie shell. Place remaining berries in pie shell and cover with cooled mixture. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight before serving. Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream.
