Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1 tsp
- peeled and diced apples - 3 c
- Sift dry ingredients and blend with first mixture mixture will be thick
How to make fresh apple cake:
Mix oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla well. Sift dry ingredients and blend with first mixture (mixture will be thick). Add apples and pecans. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Put in cold oven. bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let cake cool some before removing from pan. While still warm, glaze.Glaze:1/2 c. margarine1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. light brown sugar2 Tbsp. milk Mix and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
