Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda
- nuts - 1 c
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- sliced apples - 4 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
Pour sugar over apples and let stand at least 2 hours (forms liquid for mix). Combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.Note: If cake is covered, it will become soggy.
