Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- self-rising flour
- cooking oil - 1 c
- diced apples - 3 c
- Add eggs and vanilla
How to make fresh apple cake:
Mix oil and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add all dry ingredients. Stir in apples and nuts. Mix well. Pour into a greased 10 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle chips over batter and pat down. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. melted margarine1 Tbsp. water1 tsp. vanilla Mix together and spread over hot cake.
