Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- raisins - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- chopped, peeled apples - 3 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
In a mixing bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Fold in apples, nuts and raisins. Spoon into a well-greased cake pan or a 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tests done. Serves 16 to 20.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
