Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- stick butter or oleo - 1 item
- broken pecans - 2 c
- peeled and chopped apples - 3 c
- Add the remaining ingredients
How to make fresh apple cake:
Mix the sugar, oil, vanilla and eggs together by hand. Add the remaining ingredients. After mixing all ingredients together by hand, pour into 3 waxed paper-lined pans. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool before icing.Icing:1 c. brown sugar1 stick butter or oleo1/4 c. evaporated milk Place sugar and butter in saucepan and melt over low heat. Add milk and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Whip to desired consistency. Pour on cake layers while icing is hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
