  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • nuts if desired - 1/2 c
  • coarsely chopped apples - 4 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Mix the dry ingredients, then oil. Add the beaten eggs. Add chopped apples last. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Top with a thin glaze or whipped topping.
