  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • large egg - 1 item
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • apples, peeled and diced - 2 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Mix sugar and apples together. Let stand for 10 minutes. Mix in slightly beaten egg and oil. Add sifted dry ingredients, raisins and walnuts. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with powdered
