French toast
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- maple flavored syrup - 1 item
- ground cinnamon optional - 1 item
- slices dry white bread - 10 item
How to make french toast:
In a shallow bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides. In a skillet or on a grill, cook bread on both sides in a small amount of hot butter over medium-high heat until golden brown. Add more butter when needed. Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
